Hello there and welcome to my website. As an ethnographer, I use voices and ephemera to tell stories. I have written on the importance of play in early childhood, the Occupy movement, and familyhood. Now I have written about diaries. I also tell stories with sound art. I believe the auditory sense provides a rich channel for opening the imagination because what is heard can be open to interpretation. I am a retired teacher and researcher with the University of California, Berkeley Harold E. Jones Child Study Center. Enjoy exploring my work and reading my blog. Thank you for visiting.
